India My Land, My Country and MyDream

motherland‘India is the cradle of the human race, the birth place of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend and great grandmother of tradition.’
India my motherland, is the land of great men and women. It is the land of high
mountains and deep valleys. It is the land of lovely forests and green hills. It is land
of truth and peace, culture and heritage. Land of unity in diversity and a great
civilisation. It is my land, my destiny….my motherland!
I am proud to say I am an Indian. I am blessed by The Almighty being born in such a
great nation who gave birth many noble leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Dr Abdul
Kalam.
India, the biggest democracy and one of the oldest civilisations of the world is the
second most populous country into the world, after China. From mighty Himalayas in
the north to Kanyakumari in the south from Assam Hills in the east to Bay of Kutch in
the west.
I dream to make my India an ideal country in the world.  I dream of an India where everyone should get the basic needs like food, clothing, housing, education and health, where there is no rich and poor… it is clean and pollution free green India.. all place even the remotest villages are electrified. I dream India where Women are respected..farmers are appreciated. I dream an India which is not only superior in science and technology but also in sports ….Where wild life is safe from poachers, where people live in harmony with Nature, where no one is afraid of speaking the truth and where there is no corruption.
The India of my dreams will bring heaven to earth.
In the end, I dream of an India as described by Rabindranath Tagore:
Where the Head is held high where the mind is without fear into that Heaven
of freedomO Lordlet my country awake”
Sare jahan se achcha.

”Just Be Yourself”

‘My life is like a book and I am glad to start a new chapter with all of you, my personal blog AnusmitaxADIS’.
I am Anusmita. In my present form, I began my journey on a tiny planet of a tiny solar system of a tiny galaxy of this incredibly huge Universe at some point of time which humans mark as September 2007 A.D. There is a history on my birth; my brother asked Santa Claus on Christmas to gift him a little sister and I am the gift to him.
When I was only 3 months, I accompanied with my parents to shift to a beautiful Russian city Baku on the bank of the largest lake Caspian Sea which is now capital of Azerbaijan. I could not recollect anything of first dwelling place except the white snow as my father always cherish the white beauty of Baku. My parents relocated to Abu Dhabi in 2008. I am in grade-5 in Abu Dhabi Indian School. I have a beautiful family consists of six members including my grandparents. My father is working in ADNOC and my loving mother is a wonderful homemaker. My elder brother Arpandeep is perusing
his study in Class-12 at ADIS. My family is bonded by love and affection to each other.
My hobby is to perform Oddisi Classical Dance. I am influenced by dancing maestro Pandit Kelucharan Mahapatra.
I am active member of National Library Abu Dhabi and love to visit the library at Khalifa Park. I am at very basic level in sports activities but trying to improve my skill by attending regular sessions after school hours.
I feel I am enjoying a privileged life. The very fact, that I can see, hear, smell, taste & speak make me feel privileged when I think of those who can’t. I don’t eat like a king but the fact that I get to eat 3 meals a day make me feel satisfied when I think of those who sleep hungry.
My best slogan is “4Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Replace”. I love the nature and always thinking on how to make our mother earth a better place to live. I do campaign neighbourhood recycle programme to recycle the waste materials including newspapers.
My immediate plan is to buy a Bycycle. When people ask me “Are you crazy to cycle in this traffic..?” I say, “Yes I am, look into the positive part of cycling. It’s healthier, happier and greener”.
My long term goal is to become a doctor. I have seen since my childhood, there is no doctor in my village and the villagers used to travel long distance to see the doctor which pained me a lot. May Almighty support me to achieve my dream to serve my village and the society.
At the end, I am also quite proud to be with you all to share my views and look forward to learning a l…o…t from you.
Thank you.
